Our Lower School Consist of Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 (year 1 -year 6).
Key Stage 1 (KS1)

In Key Stage 1 we aim to provide enrichment, creativity and enjoyment for all pupils through a varied curriculum and range of experiences, with high expectations for all. We have also included many of the non-statutory elements that benefit our pupils and have further adapted the curriculum, as recommended, to match the needs and interests of our pupils. Where appropriate we use a cross curricular approach to maximize links between subjects and teach the skills required by our pupils through interesting and informative topic.
Subjects offered are English, Mathematics, Science, Art and Design, Computing, Design and Technology, Geography, History, Music, Religious Education, Personal Social and Health Education and French.

In Key Stage 2 our curriculum is underpinned by our “looking for learning” approach which engages pupils in their own learning, encourages them to recognize the strategy they use to become successful learners and promote high standards.
